Getting Started

How do I create my first brief?

Sign up for free, add your recipient's email, upload files, and click send. We'll guide you through a quick onboarding. Your first brief takes less than 60 seconds to create.

Do I need to install anything?

No! Briefpa is entirely web-based. Works on any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or mobile. No downloads, no plugins, no hassle.

Can I customize the delivery experience?

Yes! Choose from three beautiful reveal animations (Briefcase, Vault, Gift Box), add custom messages, set password protection, and customize the delivery URL.

Files & Limits

What file types are supported?

All file types! PDFs, images, videos, code files, design files, documents—we handle everything. No restrictions on file extensions.

What are the file size limits?

Free plan: 100MB per file. Pro: 500MB per file. Agency: 2GB per file. Upload multiple files in a single brief regardless of plan.

How long are files stored?

By default, 7 days on Free plan with custom expiry on Pro/Agency plans. You can delete briefs manually anytime. Files are automatically purged after expiration for your security.

Can I send to multiple recipients?

Yes! Add multiple email addresses when creating a brief. Each recipient gets a unique tracking link so you can see who viewed what and when.

Security & Privacy

How secure are my files?

Very secure. Files are encrypted with AES-256-GCM encryption and stored in private cloud storage. Access is via time-limited signed URLs. Optional password protection adds an extra layer. All transfers use HTTPS/TLS.

Do you sell my data?

Never. We don't sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We're bootstrapped and sustainable—our revenue comes from subscriptions, not data.

Can I see who accessed my files?

Yes! Track every event: email opens, page views, password entries, file downloads, and more. Real-time analytics show you exactly when and how recipients engage with your delivery.

What happens to files after they expire?

Files are automatically deleted from our servers after expiration. No backups, no archives. Once deleted, they're gone permanently—we cannot recover them.

Billing

How does the free plan work?

You get 3 briefs per month, refreshed on the 1st. Perfect for trying Briefpa or occasional use. No credit card required to start.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes! Cancel with one click from your dashboard. No penalties, no fees, no questions asked. You'll have access until the end of your billing period.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. If you're not satisfied, contact us for a full refund—no questions asked.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Absolutely! Change plans anytime from your dashboard. Upgrades are instant, and we'll prorate the billing. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Technical

What browsers are supported?

All modern browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. We recommend using the latest version for the best experience. Mobile browsers are fully supported.

Can I integrate Briefpa with other tools?

API access is available on Agency plans. Integrate Briefpa into your existing workflow, automate deliveries, and build custom solutions. Documentation coming soon.

Is there a mobile app?

Not yet! But our web app is fully responsive and works beautifully on mobile devices. Add it to your home screen for an app-like experience. Native apps are on our roadmap.
